American Polo Classic - Newport Polo

Yacht Rock sailed into Newport Polo with nautical style, rocking music, and a whole lot of late-summer charm. This is our favorite time of year at the field - cool, warm breezes, partially cloudy skies, and just enough September softness to make the afternoon feel effortless. In honor of the American Polo Classic, local Newport Polo players faced off on Team Red and Team Blue for a spirited match that kept the crowd cheering from start to finish. The “Yacht Rock” Best In Show theme brought captain hats, yacht-chic attire, bold navy and white prints, and plenty of seaside elegance to the Cabanas and tailgates. The match stayed neck and neck until the very end, with Team Red claiming the win 7 - 6. From the nautical flair to the close competition, it was a #pictureperfect September match to remember.
