The warm breeze and blue skies created the perfect setting for this nearly sold-out polo match. Thousands of patrons enjoyed this July 4th weekend at Newport Polo to see the highly anticipated USA vs Italy match. As expected, the match started with intense plays and tough shots, leaving fans and newbies on the edge of their seats. In honor of this weekend's away team, the Best In Show theme was “Festa Italiana”. Bold pops of color matching the Italian flag - red, green & white - could be seen in outfits and tailgate setups, along with the beloved Sicilian “Limoncello” with lemons, ocean blues, and floral motifs. In the end, Italy was able to win against the USA 12 to 7. Thank you to ALL BIS participants! Below are a few favorites from the match day.
