BOOKING WITH US... 

WHAT SORT OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU DO?

At Cocoa & Co. we are a full service photography studio. We specialize in portrait (types: kids, families, maternity, couples and student), food and special event (weddings, engagement, prom, graduation, etc) photography. Looking to save your date click here. 

DO YOU DO WALK-UPS?

We do walk-ups for our Pop-Up Mini Session Events. For portrait session (Family, Kids, Couple, Individual) we encourage you to schedule an appointment. WHAT IF I'M LATE TO MY SCHEDULED SESSION?

Delays happen! We understand that sometimes life happens and you may arrive late or miss your scheduled session altogether. Should this happen give us a call (614) 379-2484 as soon as possible. We ask that you call us to change your appointment date or time at least 24 hrs prior to the start of your session time. 

CAN YOU MEET ME AT THE PARK OR MY HOME? 

Yes. We love doing "on-location" photoshoots! We can meet you at your home or at a specific *location that best fits your session. *For locations 10+ miles from our Eastland Mall Studio  - 2706 Eastland Mall, Columbus, OH 43232 - there's a flat $25 travel fee. 

WHY IS THERE A SITTING FEE?

We want our focus and time to be on you! Our sitting fee is your way to secure your Date & Time - "Save Your Date" - on our calendar. HOW MANY PERSONS CAN YOU SHOOT AT ONE TIME? 

We want everyone to shine during our family or group sessions so the most we shoot in-studio at one time is 6 persons. Groups with 7+ persons will be given our "Group Rate" - to book and learn more click here.

YOUR SESSION & PHOTO REVEAL...

WHAT HAPPENS DURING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOTS?

Every session is special! We want you to feel at home, with a assortment of carefully picked props and colors that make you and/or your family look their best. Book a photography session with us today so we can create magic together! 

WHY DO YOU HAVE PRE-SESSION CONSULTATIONS?

We are the ultimate storytellers! In order to share your story it's important we learn more about you and/or your family. Our photography sessions are custom to you. The best way to understand what inspires you we like to chat with you (in-person or over the phone) to discuss a few key details such as poses, colors, themes and more! 

CAN I BRING AN EXTRA PERSON (TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED) WITH ME TO MY SCHEDULED SESSION?

Yes. An additional fee per person will be added to your package total. 

CAN I BRING PEOPLE TO MY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION FOR SUPPORT AND TO WATCH MY SESSION? 

Family and friends are welcome to relax in our Cocoa & Co. sitting area until the end of your session. Only those persons in the photoshoot will be able to enter the photography set. It's important that the photography set stays quiet and peaceful so you can relax and allow the the magic of your beautiful moment unfold.  

HOW LONG ARE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS?

Our portrait sessions often range in time due to the various packages we offer. We focus on getting all those special moments!  

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I AM GETTING HAIR & MAKEUP DONE FOR MY PHOTO SESSION?

At Cocoa & Co. we want you to look and feel your best! Adding Hair and/or Makeup for photo session is a wonderful way to ensure an amazing session. When getting Hair and/or Makeup your hair and face must be clean - freshly washed - and free from products. The professional hair stylist and/or makeup artist will complete your desired look. Our hair stylists and MUAs (makeup artists) are experienced professionals. Your timely arrival is expected. 

WHAT IS A PHOTO REVEAL?

Following your photography session (Between 5-7 Business Days) after we've edited and curated your best shots we invite you to the studio to view all your Proofs with us. We encourage you to bring your loved ones and we'll bring the tissues! 

WHAT IF I CAN'T COME IN FOR A POHOTO REVEAL? HOW DO I SEE MY PROOFS?

We understand. We will then email you a link to your Client Page where you can then see all your Proofs and complete your package order. 

HOW DO I SHARE MY PROOFS WITH MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY?

Simply share your Client Page url with your friends and family and they can place orders from the same page. We have amazing selection of "Add Ons" we know you  will love!

CAN I ORDER MORE PRINTS AT THE PHOTO REVEAL? 

Absolutely! Just let us know at your Photo Reveal what you'd like to "Add On".  


ORDERING & DELIVERY...

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PRINT ORDER?

Our turnaround time for our portrait photography sessions are between 7-14 Business Days from the day you submit your Print Order Form. You can receive your order within 2-3 Business (Rush Order) at an additional processing fee of $24.95 in addition to your package price. 

HOW DO I GET MY PRINT ORDER?

All in-studio orders can be picked up at our East side Studio - 2706 Eastland Mall, Columbus, OH 43232.  Yes, we deliver to your home! Delivery to your home with insurance (signature required) is available for a flat rate of $24.95.  

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PRINT ORDER HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED?

All Print Orders are mailed out with insurance and delivery confirmation.  If your package has not been delivered you must submit a "Missing Package" Report - click here to submit report.  For all missing Print Orders the "Missing Package" Report must be completed and submitted.  Photo reprints for all packages lost or not received will take 8 to 10 weeks to be processed once the insurance claim has been filed.  

HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO SELECT MY POSES INCLUDED IN MY PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE?

You have 14 Days (including weekends) from the date your Proof Confirmation Email is sent. Within 14 Days choose your final poses and prints that are included in your photography package. After 14 Days your Client Page will be disabled and your Proofs will be sent to archival. To recover your Proofs there's a flat $495 archival fee and will take 3-5 Business Days. 

CAN I EXTEND HOW LONG MY CLIENT PAGE IS ACTIVE?

Yes. There's a standard fee of $24.95 per month to extend your Client Page. Please note once your Page goes past 14 Days - your Page is automatically disabled and the above answer applies.  To extend your Client Page call us at least 72hrs BEFORE your 60 days and pay $24.95 at the time of your request. 

WHAT'S YOUR REFUND POLICY? 

You have 48 hrs from the date of service to request a 100% refund of your package cost. All sitting fees and deposits are non-refundable. All refunds over $20 are processed by Corporate Check in 8-10 weeks. After 48 hrs your photography package is non-refundable. To read our full Refund Policy click here. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY BUSINESS DAYS?

We use the industry standard meaning for Business Days to mean "Monday thru Friday" not including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
